More About Laura
Licensed Professional Counselor

Laura holds a Masters of Arts degree in Counseling from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary out of Cornerstone University and received a Batchelors of Art degree in Communications from DePauw University in Greencastle, IN.  She was the 2010 recipient of the GRTS Counseling Award given to a student within the counseling program for outstanding academic achievement.  Laura is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

Along with her counseling practice, Laura is currently the co-founder and Executive Director of Second Calling… “Not Done Yet,” a Christian training and equipping organization helping women in the second season of life discover new dreams, vision and purpose.  Previously, Laura had spent 10 years working at a local area church as Director of Women’s Ministries.

Laura and her husband George have been married for 25 years and have two college-age children.  Laura is a woman of faith, passionate about her personal relationship with Jesus Christ; not religion, but a deep and fulfilling relationship with her personal Lord and Savior.
